ParaMed Plus has been family owned and operated since 1995. The office is located in Central Vermont with affiliates in New York, Maine and Massachusetts. ParaMed Plus offers paramedical services for insurance companies on a regular basis through its association with a variety of national paramedical firms. These services are needed to fulfill medical requirements in connection with an individual's application for life, disability or medical insurance.

ParaMed Plus also performs occupational medical compliance services. These services include DHHS drug and alcohol testing, collection, substance abuse policy development, supervisor and employee drug and alcohol awareness training, random pool management, on-site DOT, Occupational physical exams and Medical Review. These services are available statewide on a 24-hour basis.

ParaMed Plus has the capability of performing other medical related testing services as well. Some of those services would include but are not limited to DOT and Non-DOT physical examinations, pulmonary function tests, lead monitoring, audiometry testing, phlebotomy services, DNA collection and wellness clinics.

A key area that separates ParaMed Plus from other occupational medical clinics is our ability to coordinate and perform required services on a mobile basis. Our experience has proven that by offering a mobile program, travel time is eliminated for the customer and thus both time and money saved can become substantial.

Our philosophy is to build relationships with the customers we serve. We are sensitive to each employer's unique situation and are committed to providing comprehensive and professional services.

In order to facilitate all services our collection personnel are trained Breath Alcohol Technicians.

ParaMed Plus has been certified by the Vermont Agency of Transportation as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, (DBE). This certification will be beneficial to those companies who use federal funds or grants to run their businesses
